The ideal home is found...
Once you’ve found your new home an application for tenancy will be required. With our 24 hour approval system it won’t be long before we have acceptance from the landlord and if successful a date for you to sign your new Tenancy Agreement. Please remember that all applications for a property are subject to final approval by the Landlord. Often there will be more than one application for a property at any given time.
Remember to bring photo identification with you as all ______ applications require 100 point proof identification.
Tip: You can leave a holding deposit at our Eastern Suburbs office using EFTPOS (cheque and savings accounts only). All other offices will require a bank cheque or money order.
Signing the Tenancy Agreement
______ Estate Agents has a cash free policy.
If your application has been successful, you will be required to sign the Tenancy Agreement and Bond Lodgement form at one of our offices within 48 hrs.
Upon signing a lease a bond payment will be required (4 weeks rent for unfurnished properties and higher for furnished) and the first months rent in advance (less the deposit paid). Also a fee of $15.00 for lease preparation will be required. This initial payment can only be made by Bank cheque or Money order. You will also receive a condition report to be filled in and returned within 7 days and an automatic (DEFT) payment form for all future rent payments.
Rest assured our fully trained Property Managers will explain all the essential clauses and ensure that you fully understand the terms of the agreement.
